Vegas Vacation!!!

So we recently enjoyed a fun filled vacation to Vegas. This was our first road trip with the girls (they have been spoiled and always flew) and although we started out with a rough start, it ended up going pretty smoothly. The rough start was we had stopped at a store to get a adapter for the DVD player. All of a sudden I could smell this burning smell and looked down the cigarette lighter was smoking, which in turn blew the fuse and the radio clock and etc. didn't work. Needless to say we stopped again to change out the fuse and after about an hour or so we were back on the road.

My mom also came with us, although she was lucky enough to fly. My mom was so sweet she watched all of the kids while Dave and I enjoyed the the Broadway production of The Lion King. It was so amazing, if any of you ever get the opportunity to see this it is defiantly worth it.

The rest of the time we enjoyed out at the pool. The girls have never had so much fun. They had a baby pool witch was just the right depth for them to play in. The lazy river was also a lot of fun because the current goes so fast especially around the turns.

Thank you so much mom for all of your help!

5 Generations

So recently my mom and the girls and I visited my great grandma and my grandma in San Luis Obispo, California. While we were there, my grandma really wanted a photo with all five generations. I am so glad we got to visit; Not many people can say they got to see their great great grandma.

Kylie's Biathalon

Kylie will attempt the record deadlift at 35 lbs. That is 1.5 times her body weight. Let's see if she can pull it off...

"Awe, man."

2nd event---Chocolate Eating Contest

This is Kylie's best event. She is favored over the competition 3 to 1. Let's hope she put on some bigger pants than she had for the weightlifting competition...

"Yes, chocolate, bring it on!!!!"

Kylie's doing great, already 5 chocolate's down.

Who's ready for more chocolate?

"Oooohh, I am, I am!"

Oh my, Kylie chomped past the competition! Leaving nothing behind, but empty wrappers and a face full of the experience. Kylie wins!!

"Yes! What do I win?"
You win the Gold! Chocolate Gold!
"Yesssss, I'm ready!"

"Woah, what was in that chocolate? I..think...I'm dreaming.....more chocolate..."

The Game Header

Dayna is gonna kill me for this one:

So Dayna is playing on a softball team this year. She played in high school as a pitcher. But unfortunately, this is slow pitch, so she wasn't quite in her element.

We were so excited for her first game! We all went including her Mom and Dad. Dayna was getting some hits, making some plays and we were cheering her on. So about midway through the game, after a bad inning pitching, she was put back in center field. A pop fly gets hit out to her. We're watching with anticipation as her mitt comes up to her face to catch the ball. The next thing I see is the ball bouncing about 20 feet in the other direction. I'm thinking, "that can't have bounced off her mitt like I think it did."

So at the end of the inning, Dayna and her team heads for the dugout and immediately, a crowd forms around her. I'm wondering what is going on. Come to find out, the ball had smacked her directly on the forehead giving her a massive goose egg. I felt so bad for her, what a trooper! She still finished the game and they won!

Although it was pretty embarrassing for her, I'm proud I married such a tough chick! (And such a funny one, too). Love ya, Dayna!

Too Funny

DISNEYLAND!!!

We recently got back from our annual Disney trip with my mom, sister and of course all of the kids. This year was so much fun a big difference than what we experienced last year{thank goodness}. The kids had so much fun I love watching their facial expressions on all the rides.
At the airport as we were waiting to board our plane, fortunately we were sitting right next to the pilots that invited Jax and Kade to the cockpit. It was so cool they let them push buttons and speak on the intercom. What a way to start the trip. The kids were so good on the plane. The first day we spent at the pool relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

Next was Disneyland we spent 2 1/4 days their. Kylie was hilarious every time we would get of the ride she would arch her back and say "more" then start crying realizing we had to get off it was cute. I think that Dumbo was every ones favorite ride.

We also got to spend the day at the beach. It was great weather and believe it or not the water wasn't too cold. The boys had fun running against the waves and throwing sand in the water. Kylie enjoyed eating the sand, I thought she would have outgrown this from last year, but continually would shove handfuls in there {YUCK}.

But unfortunately all good things must come to an end and we had to come home. Thanks mom for all your help.
